Installation, servicing, upgrades - we can provide everything you need!

As well as installing a selection of panels which we consider to be the best, we offer a range of other services:

1. Complete heating systems and other plumbing work – We are experienced plumbers, so while we are installing your solar water heating system we can also complete any additional plumbing work that you need.  

Our specialty is combining solar with wood pellet boilers, wood burning stoves, or solid fuel ranges to provide you with a complete carbon neutral solution to your heating and hot water needs. We can supply and install Ökofen Automatic Wood Pellet Heating Systems, see http://www.organicenergy.co.uk/content/19.php for more details.

In addition, we are CORGI and OFTEC registered so we can also install your new gas or oil boiler. Plus, we can replace your power shower with a thermostatic mixer shower to make the most of your new solar water heating system. When you contact us for a solar quote, why not ask us for an estimate for any additional plumbing work that you need.

2. Installing kits and other solar systems – if you have already purchased a solar system, for example a kit, and are looking for someone to install it, or have your heart set on another manufacturer, we would be prepared to discuss installing other systems provided they were technically excellent. Please call us for an estimate.

3. Servicing and upgrades - if you already have a solar thermal system it may need servicing, and if it is not working properly it may need to be repaired or upgraded. If the antifreeze has not been checked since the system was installed it may have degraded. It is important that systems receive regular services to ensure they function efficiently and safely. We carry out servicing and upgrades to systems to ensure they are working properly. If you would like us to have a look at your system then please get in touch.

4. Help with poorly performing solar thermal systems – Increasingly we are being asked to assess where other companies have installed solar systems incorrectly, and parts of the system need to be repaired or replaced. Unscrupulous companies occasionally refuse to honour warrantees and agreements, leaving individuals little alternative but to take action with Trading Standards, civil court actions, or make claims with Insurance Companies. For small fee, we can inspect the solar water heating system, assess where it was installed incorrectly, and write a report on our findings. Please call us to arrange an inspection.

5.
